Beware False Recruiting Offers

Gran Tierra Energy is aware that some job seekers have received false employment offers from an individual or organization posing as Gran Tierra Energy. Individuals or organizations sending these false employment offers may request personal information or funds to further the recruitment process.

Please be aware that Gran Tierra Energy will never request money from job seekers, nor request personal information beyond what is required for a resume. All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from Gran Tierra Energy, whether directly or indirectly, are always required to go through a formal recruitment process including an interview with a member of Gran Tierra Energy’s recruitment team.

Gran Tierra Energy is also aware that there are individuals requesting money in the form of a “fee” in exchange for access to Gran Tierra Energy work, through contractors of GTE. Gran Tierra Energy is not connected with any third party companies or persons who are requesting fees in exchange for access to work.

Workers do not need to pay any intermediaries in order to have access to job opportunities with Gran Tierra or its contractors. All workers can directly access job vacancies in compliance with existing labor regulations and the use of public service - SPE (public employment service).
