A Local and Regional Approach
GTE continued its successful new approach to social investment and engagement which commenced two years ago. The company’s strategy involves directly impacting the areas closest to its operations, as well as helping fortify the entire region to maximize the impact and sustainability of its investments.
GTE collaborates very closely with the Chambers of Commerce in Cesar and Putumayo Departments on several initiatives aimed at fostering a healthy business climate. With Emprender Paga, GTE focuses on helping entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground, while Key Partners focuses on helping strengthen the capacity of businesses contracted with GTE. The company also funds a Commercial Strengthening program that provides training and resources for local suppliers.
